If only real cars were this easy to power up and operate. Just insert the snazzy blue vehicle in the power unit, crank the handle a while, then let this little dynamo take off. It''s designed to drive up a yellow ramp into a large cylinder and then travel around in circles (like those motorcycles in the circus). And while that was an awful lot of fun when we tried it out, we had an equally great time sending the car down hallways or letting it knock over elaborately constructed pyramids of other toys and office supplies. We were impressed by how much power the car had but more impressive still was the fact that its all done without batteries, meaning it''s less expensive to operate in the long run and less inclined to break down. --Charlie Williams
